- Understand simple instructions: Follow classroom directions and comprehend short, clear texts.
- Build basic sentences: Use the present tense of essential verbs like être and avoir.

Upper Beginners & Beginners Continuous
Upper Beginners & Pre-Intermediate
The course objectives tailored for students at this level are:
- Communicate in daily life: Interact simply in shops, restaurants, and social settings.
- Share personal information: Describe your background, family, hobbies, and daily routines.
- Navigate travel situations: Ask for directions, book transport, and manage hotel stays.
- Master basic grammar: Use present and near-future tenses with high-frequency vocabulary.
Pace: 2 hours / week over 9 weeks

This course is designed for students who have completed Upper Beginners and Pre-intermediate or who have been assessed prior
enrolling.
In this class, students learn the vocabulary and language structures required to:
- Talk about friendships and relationships;
- Describe a person (character, flaws, qualities);
- Describe a student or work experience;
- Use the appropriate past tense (passé composé, imparfait and plus-que-parfait);
- Compare lifestyles and experiences.
Pace: 2 hours / week over 9 weeks
